Where’s The Gold?
Where’s the Gold, is certainly one Aristocrat’s most popular and successful video slots. The mining themed game, tries to tell the tale of Great American Gold Rush, through cartoony characters and imaginative icons. The high playing cards were always going to make an appearance in this slot game, but aren’t really detrimental to how the game players out.
Where’s the Gold, features a total of 5 reels and 25 paylines. Players will be able to select however many paylines they wish to play with, and wager on each of them individually. Coin denominations can rise upwards from 0.01 to no more than 2.00 in total. Players can only stake 1 coin per line, but that should see them able to wager anything from a floor of just 0.01 per line, per spin, up to a ceiling of 50.00 per spin, which is fair and rather modest.

Scatter icon: The scatter icon in Where’s the Gold, is the dynamite symbol. When this symbol is located 3, 4 or 5 times in any position on the reels, it will trigger the Where’s the Gold feature. This is where the magic happens in this slot.
Where’s the Gold feature: The bonus feature basically consists of a free spins game, whereby players will get to spin the reels up to a total of 10 times for free. First, though, players will need to select a character. The amount of nuggets hidden under that character will determine how many free spins you get. The feature can also be retriggered by landing more scatters whilst the bonus is in session.
Wild icons: Wilds are included in Where’s the Gold, but you won’t find any of them in the base game. Instead, they are reserved for the free spins bonus game. After selecting a character, one of the symbols in the game will turn golden, and that will be your wild. Wilds can replace all other symbols bar the dynamite scatter icon.
Gamble feature: Where’s the Gold, does indeed contain a gamble feature. Like most of the gamble features in Aristocrat slots, it is very primitive. Players are required to choose either a suit or colour to quadruple or double their winnings. Your chances aren’t great. This feature can be activated after any winning spin by clicking on the gamble button at the bottom of the screen.
Where’s the Gold’s best paying icon, is the gold miner. When this icon appears a total of 5 times on any active payline, the player can win as much as 1,000 coins, via this slot’s non-progressive jackpot. It isn’t a huge sum of money, but it is fair.
Where’s the Gold, has done exceptionally well for itself in the online casino world. Many casino players have tried and loved this slot. For players seeking unusual gameplay options, this slot is for them. You may be a bit disheartened about the wilds only appearing in the free spins bonus, though.
